Privacy & Personal Data Protection Policy

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011, you have the right to access, correct, and request the irreversible erasure of your personal data. Student personal identifiers are never exposed publicly or unrestrictedly.
1. Identity of Data Fiduciary
SACHAN TUTORIALS, having its principal office at Plot No - 34, Gandhigram, Near Ramadevi Chauraha, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, acts as the Data Fiduciary responsible for determining the purpose and means of processing your personal data.
2. Personal Data We Collect
- For Parents & Students: Student name, age/class grade, school, guardian name, phone, WhatsApp, residential locality in Kanpur, and learning goals.
- For Tutors: Full name, date of birth, contact details, educational certificates, and government identity proofs (Aadhaar/PAN/DL). Full Aadhaar numbers are never stored as plain text.
3. Masked Lead Architecture & Disclosure Model
We implement strict data minimization principles. When a parent or student requests a home tutor:
- Initial Masked Broadcast: Registered educators can only view masked lead parameters: unique lead code, grade/class, requested subjects, broad area/locality (e.g., "Kakadeo, Kanpur"), preferred mode, and budget range.
- Withheld Confidential Identifiers: Student full name, guardian name, contact telephone, WhatsApp number, exact residential street address, landmark, and school name are strictly encrypted and withheld.
- Regulated Administrative Unlock: An educator must submit an "Expression of Interest". Bureau administrators manually review the teacher's verified qualifications and approve the match (capped at a maximum of 3 approved teachers per lead). Only approved educators receive access to the student's contact details.
4. Purpose Limitation & Processing
We process and disclose personal data strictly to:
- Match students with nearby verified home educators across Kanpur.
- Verify tutor identity and academic credentials for home safety.
- Facilitate schedule coordination and trial demo class confirmations via WhatsApp / Phone.
- Zero Commercial Exploitation: We do NOT sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal data to advertising brokers or marketing agencies.
5. Data Retention & Deletion Rights
Personal lead data is retained only for the duration necessary to deliver tuition coordination or comply with statutory accounting obligations. You may exercise your right to erasure at any time via our Data Deletion Request Portal. Upon tuition cessation or consent withdrawal, educators are legally required to delete all student contact records.
6. Grievance Redressal Officer (DPDP Act 2023)
Grievances are acknowledged within 24 hours and redressed within 15 working days as mandated under Indian cyber law.
